I just returned from an inspiring week at the WPPI photography conference. For those of you who are not familiar with the event WPPI is the Wedding & Portrait Photographers International conference held annually in Las Vegas. This year around 12,000 people attended from all over the world. It was the perfect place for me to start off 2009. And to make the week that much better, I was able to attend with my good friend and wedding photographer, Terri.
While at WPPI, I gained ideas and inspiration on topics ranging from photographic approach to artistic style to running a photography studio. The speakers at the conference were very generous to share their personal experiences. I also found that some of the speaker’s work spoke volumes above what any words could communicate. I am honored to be part of such a very talented and supportive photographic community.
Speaking of changes, this year we moved! As of January, my husband and I relocated from Princeton, New Jersey to La Jolla, California. Yes it’s a big leap but a very positive one as well. My husband took on an exciting new role at a company in San Diego and we decided to make the move back to the west coast.
We have many good friends and clients whom I will miss local to Princeton and the surrounding New Jersey area. I do want to thank you all for your support, friendship and business…and hope to see you all on vacation in San Diego soon.
Here’s an image of the daily goings-on of La Jolla shores for those who are curious.
